Alibaba Cloud Bangkok Data Center
Thailand-first products and regional edge.

Asia Pacific
Quick profile
- Provider: Alibaba Cloud
- Location: Bangkok (Thailand (Bangkok))
- Region group: Asia Pacific
- Intent score: 80
- China pick: No
Best for
- Thailand-first products and regional edge.
Avoid if
- You need consistently strong Mainland China performance without CDN and without multi-region fallback.
- Your workload is real-time sensitive (voice/gaming) and cannot tolerate peak-hour jitter/loss spikes.
- You require Mainland China compliance / ICP hosting (this is an offshore region).
China traffic notes
- China connectivity depends heavily on ISP and time-of-day. Treat “best” claims as probabilistic.
- Measure TTFB, TLS handshake, and packet loss — not just ping.
- For stability: put a CDN in front, cache aggressively, and keep a fallback region.
Verification (pass/fail)
Run tests from Mainland China probes during peak hours for at least 3 days.
Minimum acceptance targets (guideline):
- Packet loss (peak): ≤ 1%
- TLS handshake: ≤ 250ms
- TTFB (cached / CDN fronted): ≤ 600ms
If you fail any target, apply the standard playbook: CDN caching → reroute/line change → fallback region.
