The real pricing issue is renewal
SiteGround's GoGeek offer is a classic example of why VPSComparison separates introductory and renewal pricing. The first 12 months are currently advertised at $7.99 per month, while the renewal rate is $44.99 per month. That is a very different long-term cost profile from a $30–$35 premium managed WordPress plan that does not rely on such a deep first-year discount.
Capacity and resource limits
SiteGround's current GoGeek sales page emphasizes unlimited websites and unlimited traffic, but those labels operate within plan resource limits. That is materially different from a raw VPS with fixed RAM/CPU or a managed WordPress plan that publishes a visits or server-bandwidth boundary. For a growing or high-traffic site, the final buying decision should include resource usage, caching behavior, dynamic traffic, WooCommerce activity, and SiteGround's account limits.
That is also why SiteGround is not being inserted into the Finder ranking model in this review update. The Finder should only score it after its product record, capacity semantics, pricing history, and verification rules are defined consistently with the rest of the database.
